Taras Gout MB BChir MRes is an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a specialist interest in aesthetics medicine. He undertook a seven-year ophthalmology specialty training programme in Yorkshire. With the final two years focusing on Oculoplastics (plastic surgery around the eyes) at St James’s University Hospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe. This was followed by fellowship training initially in Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia and then at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, USA. Both centres have worldwide reputations for teaching, research, clinical practice and surgical expertise. The training covered the general areas of orbital, lacrimal and oculoplastics surgery. As well as the specialist areas of reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

Dr Gout treats a spectrum of cosmetic and functional conditions. This includes cosmetic procedures such as botulinum toxin, fillers, peels, lasers, threads, and microneedling. As well as cosmetic surgeries such as upper and lower blepharoplasty, droopy eyelid (ptosis), brow lift, midface lift and eyelid tightening.
